Ms. Marino joins BASIS Independent McLean with a variety of work experiences from a law office to a think tank to a real estate agency. After earning bachelors of arts in history and French from the University of Virginia, Ms. Marino was a legal assistant and a lobbying assistant, as she says, while “I was trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up.”
Deciding not to go into law, she earned her master of arts in French studies from New York University. Then she worked in the marketing department at a public policy think tank where she drafted marketing materials and grant applications on behalf of research fellows. After spending several years as a professional mom, she returned to the workforce part time as a client services manager for a high-performing real estate team.
As the mother of three sons, Ms. Marino spends many weekends on the baseball field and basketball court. She rescues foster dogs and continues to dabble in French.
