Writing for the Smithsonian

As my research is coming to a conclusion, I have kept busy by writing blog posts for the Smithsonian. I was asked to write one on how students and teachers have coped with online learning and the tools that have helped them through this confusing time. From Netflix Party to Zoom, I tried to cover all the different ways people have stayed connected.

I also took into account personal anecdotes from people I interviewed to give a wide array of points of view. Sources like NPR, Chalkbeat, and Edsource were included in my article, as well. Moving forward, my work for the Smithsonian will remain creating blog posts and research, and with all the time on my hands, I am just working on polishing my research for the final presentation.

    How did you find/choose people to interview? It would definitely be interesting to see a comparison of the different lifestyles people have adapted to right now.
