This week consisted of extending my research from last week’s experiment that was discussed and reflecting back overall as I have begun to work on the final presentation.
My main takeaway is that Salvia triloba and Piper nigrum plants are commonly used worldwide in households along with other herbal treatments that haven’t been experimented with to its full extent. It was quick to show how the extracts presented a significant reduction in oxidative stress and because traditional medicine can be found in everyday diets there are no expected side effects, and definitely none as severe as what current medications present.
With just a few weeks left I am now turning my attention towards creating my final product and presentation. Next week I will be sure to fill you all in on how it is all shaping out to look like, but overall I am pleased with the amount of research I have done and the results I have come across:)
