We are eager, excited, and cautious as school starts this fall. The strength of our community was tested last spring and emerged stronger. With that resilience, we have been thoughtfully planning and continue to evaluate the ever-changing landscape of being on-campus safely. We continue to utilize all available information to make informed decisions in the best interest of our BASIS Independent McLean community. Please view our Fall 2020 Reopening Plan here. Our team, in consultation with our parent community, continues to work diligently and, at all times, with the safety of our students and employees as our first priority.

As of March 9, 2021, our grades 4-6 students have returned to campus full time! Grades 7-12 remain in the hybrid model described in our Fall 2020 Reopening Plan above.

As of April 13, 2021, we welcomed grades 7-12 back to campus five days a week. All students are now on campus five days a week with safety protocols in place.
