From cooking to theatre, coding to National Honor Society, our clubs and activities help students grow into well-rounded learners and discover their passions. The primary goals of clubs and activities for our younger students is to explore new ideas, participate in diverse activities, and build social skills outside of the classroom environment. As students matriculate, clubs and activities help them grow into leaders in the school and larger community, and provide the opportunity for them to demonstrate their skills in interscholastic competitions.

Our approach to clubs and activities at BASIS Independent McLean empowers students to create or help develop a program where they see a need beyond what is offered. This entrepreneurship has resulted in the creation of some of our most popular clubs, like Knights of the Square Table, Pokémon club, and Service club. When the Red-Tailed Hawks see an opportunity, they seize it!
