We have three registration windows:
- Priority Registration for BASIS Independent McLean (BIM) families only: opens January 25-31.
- Early Registration for BIM and non-BIM families: February 1-March 15.
- Rolling Registration: March 16 until two weeks before any specific camp.

We strongly encourage you to complete enrollment by March 15 as some classes fill quickly. During Early Registration, a 25% deposit is due, which includes a $25 per child non-refundable registration fee. Early Registration is also an open transfer period (see below). Full payment must be received by April 10.
Rolling registration begins March 16. At this time, families may still register for summer programs, however, they may experience a higher chance of getting wait-listed for their desired activities. Rolling Registration will continue until two weeks prior to the start of a given class. During Rolling Registration, payment must be received in full at the time of registration, and a $25 per child non-refundable registration fee is included.
Class Cancellation/Low Enrollment
After March 15, programs with low enrollment are subject to cancellation. An updated list of programs will be available on the website after March 15. Programs have minimum registration requirements which must be met for the class to be held. Programs that have not met that minimum during Early Registration are subject to cancellation. Parents will be notified by April 1 of cancellations and program fees will be applied to another class or refunded as preferred by the parent. The $25 registration fee is non-refundable.
Note: We reserve the right to change instructors and expand or contract grade requirements for any class at our discretion.
An open transfer period will be in effect through March 15. Transfer requests will be honored at no charge when possible through March 15 based on space availability in both classes. After March 15, transfer requests must be received two weeks prior to the beginning of both classes and will incur a fee of $25. Transfers will not be approved if it will cause a class to be cancelled or if the requested class is full.
There are no program fee refunds after April 10. Deposits and program fees are non-refundable under any and all circumstances including, but not limited to, absence(s), withdrawal before the end of the program, and disruptive behavior or other misconduct requiring a child’s dismissal from the program. In the event that a course is cancelled due to low enrollment, the full amount will be refunded (minus $25 registration fee) or transferred to an alternate class of the parent’s choice.
Supervised lunch is available at no additional cost for campers who will be attending both a morning and afternoon sessions. BASIS Independent Summer does not offer any lunch service. Students must bring lunch from home.
No Before or After Care
BASIS Independent Summer does not offer before or after care.
